Course content

The Spanish courses for Erasmus students at the VEITH Institut in Madrid are orientated to serve the special needs of Erasmus students in Spain and are exclusively developed by our own research agency, VEITH R+D Agency.

Up to now, you only have little knowledge about the Spanish language or you have never attended a Spanish course? You feel overwhelmed by a Spanish student's life? You want to make new friends, or you would like to learn how to prepare study papers correctly at a Spanish university and, furthermore, get to know new places of interest in Madrid?

The advantages you have at the VEITH Institut, in comparison to all other language schools, is that we work with our own teaching method which allows you to progress 2-3 times faster than in any conventional course. That means with the same economic effort – and above all, in minimal time – you gain double or triple the progress in Spanish which allows you to organize your stay in Madrid in the best possible way.

Course variants

Depending on how much time you can invest in the language acquisition, we offer you two variants of Spanish courses for Erasmus students:

• VEITH Standard ER Course: 2 units per day, 2 times a week, Mondays and Wednesdays or Tuesdays and Thursdays from 7:30 to 9:30 p.m.
• VEITH Turbo ER Course: 2 units per day, 4 times a week, from Monday to Thursday, from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

Both forms include a 10 minute break to entertain and meet other Erasmus students (do not forget to have a coffee in our snack zone).

If you wish to make even faster progress, or if you are looking for a more intensive alternative, our general Spanish courses might interest you.

Didactic material

The didactic material, edited by the publishing company Litamorphosis, is not included in the course fee and can be bought in the language school. Learn more about the books needed for each level on our website about the general Spanish courses.

Additional leisure time activities

On Fridays we organize varied cultural activities and excursions in Madrid and the surrounding area. You will see the museums of Madrid, taste the secrets of the Spanish culinary art, visit the most important sights of the city and practice the Spanish language in our language exchanges with native speakers.
